Our staff averages over 37 years in the insurance industry. We bring a unique set of skills and experience to everyone we work with, including employers of all sizes, from 2 employees to 2,000 employees, who are both fully and self-insured. We have strong relationships in place with a very large network of insurance companies licensed to do business in Minnesota. We are licensed to sell both group and individual insurance policies in Minnesota (MN), Wisconsin (WI), North Dakota (ND), and South Dakota (SD).
We team up with interested property casualty agencies, financial advisory firms, CPA firms, law firms, and more. We offer what we call "back-room" employer-employee benefit plan expertise, and custom solutions for each client based on their specific needs. We truly care for the people we serve… before and after the sale!

With over 37 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jim brings a unique perspective and skillset to meet or exceed the needs of his clients. He has held senior sales positions with Prudential, PreferredOne, Medica, and UnitedHealthcare. He truly enjoys assisting employers, individuals, and families with their insurance needs!
For employers providing their employees with various types of insurance coverage, he is well-versed in both the Small Employer (2 - 49 employees) and Large Employer (50 + employees) marketplace, including both fully-insured and self-funded arrangements.
Jim has been happily married to the love of his life, Suzy, for many, many years now. They have a son (Andy), three daughters (Alison and twin daughters Kimmy and Laura), and two “fun-to-hang-out-with” young grandchildren, (Cash and Cali). In his spare time, he enjoys almost any outdoor activity including golf, basketball, tennis, jogging, fishing, and more. And yes . . . he watches professional wrestling more than most people!

Should an individual within your organization choose to refer KJM to one of your employer clients or prospects, and if we are successful in writing a piece (or even at all!) of that employer's group insurance benefits package (medical, dental, disability, group life, vision, and other), we will split the commissions with the referring firms we team up with on an ongoing, month-to-month basis!
The referring organization has the freedom to stay involved in the process as little or as much as they would like to, both before and after the sale. However, a great majority of the referring firms we partner with will request us to provide all of the day-to-day benefit plan-related service responsibility for the account, including the annual renewals.
